I was doing a bit of clean up and, wouldn’t you know it, my DISH pay-per-view (PPV) userbar broke again. Apparently this is going to be an ongoing battle. It is good for me as I don’t spend a lot of time coding anymore. My eyes glazed over writing the new regular expression needed to parse out the title and image. Fortunately, it came back quickly.
Although the featured list is pretty small now, I decided not to add the new releases and events back in. The smaller list feels and looks better.

Updated 3/23/2017—broke again. I’m now on DirectTV so looking for a more general solution.
Fixed! Finally figured out what Dish was doing. Seems the movies were actually called through a script, thus why things weren’t working. I queried the script directly, which was actually simpler to parse, and now there is a nice list of movies to watch.
Although I don’t use this, it is still a fun experiment and glad I could get things working again. Note this version is just the new releases.
